About the position

The Operations Director will oversee the safe and reliable operations of four HVDC interconnector assets, including the world's two longest subsea cable interconnectors with a total capacity of 6GW. This role requires a strong engineering background and experience in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector. The successful candidate will be part of a leadership team focused on sustainability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience at the Operations Director level.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in safety management.
• Experience in managing joint venture partnerships.
• Strong executive stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in transmission, generation, nuclear, or wider renewables sectors.
• Experience in large infrastructure sectors outside of energy.
