About the position

The Operations Dispatch Coordinator at Ryder System is responsible for performing clerical functions related to dispatching within the Last Mile Supply Chain division. This role requires excellent customer service skills and regional dispatching experience, ensuring efficient communication and coordination of logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical functions including receiving, classifying, reconciling, consolidating, and summarizing documents and information.
  • Maintain records or logs and verify the completion and accuracy of information.
  • Set up and maintain files and records.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years or more administrative and clerical support experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in regional dispatching.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
