Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and clerical support to the operations department, including calendaring, creating correspondence, and developing reports.
• Performs timekeeping responsibilities, ensuring attendance records are properly maintained.
• Assists customers, business partners, employees, and vendors courteously and tactfully.
• Generates purchase orders, follows up with vendors, and enters repair orders on the fleet maintenance system.
• Schedules and monitors shipping and receiving, ensuring compliance with export standards.
• Tracks commodities and takes inventory.
• Schedules service and assigns drivers for special pick-ups, reassignment, and alternate coverage in case of absences or equipment failure.
• Audits routes to verify customer service levels and reports discrepancies to management.
• Assists the Operations Manager with route maintenance and sequencing activities for route optimization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of related administrative experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.

Nice-to-haves
