About the position

As an Operations Dispatcher at Loomis Armored US, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management services. This position is based in a climate-controlled office environment in Springfield, VA, where you will be responsible for managing customer calls, coordinating with various routes, and maintaining accurate records in our computer systems. Your primary shift will be from Tuesday to Saturday, 12 PM to 8 PM, allowing you to engage with a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the security of the branch by controlling access to the building and grounds in accordance with company policy. You will handle incoming customer inquiries regarding routing specials, service requests, and pickups, while also resolving any issues that may arise. Your ability to generate estimated times of arrival (ETA) for operations reports and maintain a dispatchers log will be essential for effective communication with all routes. Additionally, you will coordinate special services for routes, assist messengers with ATM balances, and maintain the daily ATM combos list. Your attention to detail will be critical as you perform data entry tasks and manage various reports, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer calls concerning routing specials, service requests, and pickups.
  • Resolve customer issues and generate estimated times of arrival (ETA) for operations reports.
  • Maintain communication with all routes and log hourly calls into the report log system.
  • Control access to the building and grounds according to branch policy.
  • Coordinate special services for routes and inform supervisors of any issues.
  • Maintain daily ATM combos list and assist messengers with ATM-related issues.
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate branch reports.
  • Send out safety and security messages as needed.
  • Create holiday routes and maintain requests from customers and national accounts.
  • Perform any other duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the business.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
