About the position

The Operations Engineering Manager at Generac Power Systems is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives across the entire value chain to ensure operational excellence. This role involves coordinating facility resources and employees to meet business objectives, organizing strategic initiatives, and utilizing enterprise standards to drive efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive facility operations priorities to meet or exceed customer expectations and achieve KPIs.
• Ensure ongoing success of process improvement initiatives by implementing policies and procedures.
• Deploy demand-driven principles and strategies to support operational excellence.
• Ensure synchronization of product, material, and information streams for maximum efficiency.
• Evaluate situations objectively to make impactful decisions for work performance and business outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments to complete tasks on time and with quality.
• Apply creative problem-solving approaches to address challenges in the area of responsibility.
• Define resource needs and work within budget and staffing parameters to achieve objectives.
• Act as SAP Super User within the assigned functional area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience in Operations.
• 5 years of progressive Engineering management experience in a similar work environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA.
• Experience as an ERP/MRP user (SAP/Oracle).
• Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP.
