About the position

The Operations Engineering Manager at Georg Fischer Signet LLC is responsible for leading and developing a support and services organization to meet the manufacturing value chain requirements. This role emphasizes active leadership, performance management, and the implementation of engineering solutions to enhance operational efficiencies while ensuring a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and sustain a support and services organization to meet current and future manufacturing value chain requirements.
• Lead and develop people through active leadership, development plans, performance management, and training matrices.
• Coordinate process improvements and implement engineering solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Improve company and department performance through Operational Excellence/LEAN/Kaizen principles and methods.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and clean working environment by supporting safety initiatives and following 5S & Ergonomic methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, compliance, supply chain, etc.) to align engineering efforts.
• Contribute to cross-functional monthly Goal Meetings (WIGs), Daily Management, and Gemba while tracking daily performance through the use of QDIP goals.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures when performance misses occur.

Requirements

• Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering.
• 5+ years of management experience.

Nice-to-haves
