The REV Group Operations Excellence (OpEx) Manager - Fire Division Black Belt is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and executing critical operational excellence process improvements. This position focuses on achieving hard savings and enhancing performance across various metrics, including quality, delivery, cost reduction, and overall leadership and teamwork at all Fire REV Group Business Units. The OpEx Manager will lead continuous improvement projects that align with the business goals outlined in the REV Group's Strategy & Goal Deployment Plan (GDP) and Annual Operation Plan objectives. The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Fire VP of Operations, Business Unit Managers of Operations Excellence, Vice Presidents/General Managers, and the Division President. The OpEx Manager will develop and deploy the REV Operations Excellence program, which is a critical component of the REV Business System, ensuring visibility and engagement across the entire division and segment. This position will lead complex, high-priority improvement projects as directed by senior leadership, providing essential guidance and motivation to the Business Unit REV OpEx Managers and their teams. In addition to project leadership, the OpEx Manager will provide ongoing coaching and support to the BU REV OpEx Managers, helping them to effectively utilize the REV Operations Excellence methodology in their projects. This includes conducting onsite training, serving as a technical expert in Lean Six Sigma tools, and designing and delivering OpEx training throughout the organization. The ultimate goal is to drive a sustainable cultural change across the REV Group, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
