About the position

The Operations Excellence Specialist at Wendling Quarries, Inc. is responsible for driving and executing projects aimed at achieving Operational Excellence across all departments. This role involves leading the Transportation Team and collaborating with leadership to foster a values-based culture, enhance efficiency, and improve profitability. Responsibilities

• Drive and execute projects to achieve Operational Excellence within all departments.
• Lead the Transportation Team and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Promote a values-based culture and motivate employees to reach their full potential.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Develop and present project materials, including scope, budget, and timeline, ensuring execution within expected ROI.
• Manage the Transportation Team, creating efficient processes and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of KPIs.
