About the position

The Operations & Experience Assistant Manager at Wonder is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a high-quality customer experience for families and children. This role involves managing staff, engaging with customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of play stations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive environment for learning and play.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager and leadership team in daily operations.
  • Assess and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Engage with customers and assist them with play stations and activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and play stations.
  • Conduct periodic checks to ensure consistent customer experience across all stations.
  • Arrive on time for shifts and complete full shifts, including opening and closing duties.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of experience working with children.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role with a focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and navigate stairs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current CPR-AED certification (willingness to obtain if not currently certified).
  • Experience in customer service for at least 2 years.
