About the position

The Operations Finance Specialist & Business Manager will work directly with the lead operator at the account to enforce procedures that ensure operational and financial targets are met. This role is crucial in processing Accounts Payable, tracking labor and direct costs, and maintaining internal control of inventories and equipment. The Operations Finance Specialist will also be responsible for preparing summary operating reports for both the client and the corporation, ensuring that all financial records and reports adhere to Aramark's Business Conduct Policy as well as local, state, and federal regulations. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the on-site leadership team to create an annual budget by re-forecasting monthly and conducting weekly flash reports. You will analyze labor and direct costs against the plan and forecast, communicating findings to leadership through regular Teams meetings and emails. Additionally, you will train and develop the operations team on financial acumen and policies, ensuring that all team members are equipped to manage financial responsibilities effectively. The role may also involve assisting in operational support as directed by local operational leadership or the Regional Finance Director. As part of the Aramark team, you will be expected to adapt to changing job duties and responsibilities as needed, contributing to a positive impact for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive financial experience required, including AP/AR and P&L management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment on budgeting, cost controls, and monthly reporting
  • Adherence to generally accepted accounting practices and financial controls
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills and initiative to propose and drive process improvements
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
