The Operations Finance Specialist & Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that operational and financial targets are met at the account level. This position involves direct collaboration with the lead operator to enforce procedures that align with these targets. As an Operations Finance Specialist, the individual will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable, tracking labor and direct costs, and maintaining internal controls over inventories and equipment. Additionally, the role includes preparing summary operating reports for both the client and the corporation, which are essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning. In this position, the Operations Finance Specialist will work closely with the on-site leadership team to create an annual budget, which involves re-forecasting on a monthly basis and conducting weekly flash reports. The responsibilities extend to managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Capital Expenditures, ensuring that all financial records and reports comply with Aramark's Business Conduct Policy as well as local, state, and federal regulations. The role also requires regular analysis of labor and direct costs against planned forecasts, with findings communicated to leadership through Teams meetings and email. Training and developing the operations team on financial acumen and policies is another key responsibility, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge to adhere to financial controls and processes. The Operations Finance Specialist will also assist in operational support as directed by local operational leadership or the Regional Finance Director, performing regional and account-related duties as needed.
