About the position

Car Keys Express is a rapidly growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky, with an impressive track record of 50% revenue growth each year over the past eight years. As we undergo a national expansion, we are seeking an Operations Fleet Support Specialist to play a crucial role in our growth. This position is integral to designing and implementing plans that will facilitate the expansion of our company. The successful candidate will experience the satisfaction of having their ideas put into action without the delays of committee approvals or bureaucratic processes. The primary purpose of this role is to support the operations team with various technical and administrative duties, specifically overseeing all key machine-related tasks. Responsibilities include preparing vans for field use, maintaining updated fleet records, and reconditioning and cleaning older vehicles for relaunch. Additionally, the Operations Fleet Support Specialist will assist in monitoring and responding to tickets from field employees who require assistance, ensuring that operational efficiency is maintained throughout the fleet. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting key machine issues, managing the key machine repair process, and ensuring that all van equipment records are current. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, making independent decisions as necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting key machine issues
  • Managing the key machine repair process
  • Assisting with the ticketing system and equipment management
  • Ensuring van equipment records are up to date
  • Preparing outgoing vans, completing van departure checklist
  • Cleaning and reconditioning used vans being redeployed
  • Assisting the garage team with building vans as needed

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot key machines currently in use by CKE and make minor repairs, adjustments and calibrations
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Detail oriented, and self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, handle change and make decisions independently
  • Technical and mechanical know-how of commercial vehicles is an advantage
