About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of the location, ensuring quality control, project management, and customer service. This role involves directing daily operations, maximizing return on investment, and implementing effective strategies for profitability and growth. The position requires active participation in project oversight and adherence to established parameters during the estimation and approval process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general office profitability, implement procedures, and hold key personnel accountable.
  • Responsible for achieving branch sales and revenue targets.
  • Create, manage and execute plans to increase sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to write accurate estimates and review job profitability.
  • Analyze and manage budgets.
  • Responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing team members, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, and developing their skills and abilities.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to Augusta, GA for 16-18 months for training and then be assigned a permanent General Manager Role in the Southeast Region (Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina).
  • 5+ years within the restoration industry, as well as experience managing a location.
  • Proven ability to build and motivate and maintain high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of Xactimate is a plus.
  • WRT, ASD, Mold certifications, IICRS is a plus.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management (5 years preferred).
