About the position

The Operations/Inventory Coordinator will support the Part Distribution Manager in leading and supervising the operations function within the warehouse. This role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing inventory management to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the operations team.
• Provide regular coaching, counseling, and communication to associates.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment compliant with OSHA and Company Safety Guidelines.
• Establish goals and plan projects to ensure operational strategies are executed effectively.
• Manage performance through the performance management process.
• Interact daily with other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Capture and analyze data on current processes to develop plans for future business needs.
• Manage people, processes, budgets, performance management, compliance activities, and associate development.
• Evaluate inventory needs and implement strategies for consolidation and optimization.
• Supervise and coordinate daily inventory counts.
• Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts and adjust errors as necessary.
• Prepare reports on inventory balances and shortages as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of job-related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning, change management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and achieve results with a strong customer service orientation.
• High degree of initiative and dedication to effective positive change.
• Intermediate computer skills, with high proficiency in inventory SAP.
