About the position

The Operations IT Manager will collaborate with the BraunAbility Global IT team and North America Manufacturing (NAM) business partners to deliver top-tier IT technology and services. This role involves leading a team of technologists to ensure technology is effectively supported and maintained, contributing maximum value to the manufacturing operations. The manager will oversee daily technology operations, manage continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that all operational IT tasks meet BraunAbility's standards and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with BraunAbility Global IT team and NAM business partners to define and deliver IT technology and services.
  • Lead a team of technologists to ensure technology is supported and maintained.
  • Oversee day-to-day technology operations processes to ensure availability.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize technology in production operations.
  • Ensure all operations tasks are executed effectively according to BraunAbility expectations.
  • Meet all NAM Operational IT KPIs.
  • Manage the work intake process and facilitate stakeholder prioritization.
  • Communicate sprint status, future approved sprint items, and backlog queue.
  • Ensure all needed documentation is created and updated for IT operation support.
  • Resolve all IT incident tickets according to KPI standards.
  • Manage procurement of workstations, tablets, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Oversee NAM software license management and change management processes.
  • Escalate incidents and requests for resolution within KPI targets.
  • Execute and manage continuous improvement and risk remediation tasks.
  • Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity of hardware and systems.
  • Provide Tier II/III support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of related work experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of technologists.
  • Competency in project management and developing staff leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and tasks concurrently.
  • Strong facilitation and change management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Efficient use of MHSC help desk application.
