About the position

The Operations Knowledge Manager will support U.S. Army mission command training and exercise support by leading efforts in the use of analytical tools such as Power BI and SharePoint. This role involves building and maintaining visual data products, managing access controls, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency in knowledge management. The position also includes maintaining program documents and providing support for collaborative services and tools, contributing to large-scale Army exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in the use of Power BI, SharePoint, and other Army analytical tools.
  • Build and maintain visual data products and applications.
  • Establish and maintain A365 and MS Teams sites, subsites, and channels.
  • Maintain program documents including Exercise Support Trackers and Budget Trackers.
  • Provide support for collaborative services and tools, including portal services and web applications.
  • Recommend tools and capabilities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a battalion operations lead, S3, or knowledge manager.
  • Knowledge of Army approved collaboration and knowledge management tools such as Army 365 PowerApps, MS Teams, Power BI, or SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel CONUS up to 10% of the time.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • High school diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience with knowledge management in support of military operations, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with knowledge management in support of military operations.
  • Certifications such as Security+, A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with command post operations and simulations operations.
  • Knowledge of Brigade or Division operations.
  • Ability to interface with a wide variety of personnel.
  • Self-starter with a strong team ethic.
  • Ability to handle stress and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Graduate of an Intermediate Level Education (ILE).
  • Completion of FA57 Simulations Operations Course.
