About the position

The Operations Lead plays a vital role in the store leadership team, focusing on driving profitability and efficiency. This position involves collaborating with the Operations & Visual Manager to delegate tasks, provide feedback, and ensure optimal results in total store operations. The Operations Lead is responsible for managing inventory processes, executing key operational functions, and maintaining strong visual standards while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate and address inventory accuracy issues in partnership with the General Manager.
• Manage key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, and sales floor recovery.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support a safe work environment through effective stockroom standards and processes.
• Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Leverage metrics to support business-driving strategies and demonstrate strong business acumen.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill business needs.
• Inspire and lead Operations Associates, overseeing recruitment and development.
• Use performance tools to evaluate operations associates and provide feedback for growth.
• Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure effective execution of business initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent decision-making skills.
• High energy and enthusiasm, integrating fun into work.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results individually and as a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Alignment with Alo's guiding principles.
