About the position

The Operations Lead position at a global proptech company in San Francisco involves overseeing the preparation and maintenance of properties to ensure they meet guest quality standards. The role requires a proactive individual with supervisory experience to manage operations, coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams, and handle guest-related issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Team in preparing new units and ensuring existing units are guest-ready.
  • Handle guest lockouts, furniture replacement, and keep operations managers informed of repairs.
  • Work with operations managers to ensure properties are fully equipped for guests.
  • Conduct pre-check-in and post-check-out inspections using a mobile checklist.
  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team for apartment turnover processes.
  • Oversee the building's maintenance staff for immediate repairs and supply management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of apartments through regular evaluations.
  • Drive company vans, ensuring they are well-stocked and in pristine condition.
  • Carry out home walkthroughs to meet quality assurance criteria.
  • Support ad hoc team projects like key inventory management and filming check-in videos.
  • Gather and upload property-related information onto the company's internal platform.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between Operations Leaders and the Customer Experience team.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in field or housekeeping teams.
  • Experience developing and implementing procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform simple handyman tasks and household fixes.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to routinely lift more than 30lbs for 8 hours.
  • Proficient in technology usage (email, Slack, G Suite).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company van-sized vehicle.
