About the position

The Operations Lead Security Agent at Seattle Airport plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of aviation operations. This position involves supervising security agents, coordinating daily activities, and liaising with airline customers and government authorities. The role is essential for maintaining compliance with security regulations and providing opportunities for career advancement within the aviation security sector.

Responsibilities

• Support GSI Leads and Security Agents in daily activities as per customer requirements.
• Schedule and assign Security Agents to ensure proper coverage and relief.
• Act as a liaison for Local Airline Customers, Host Catering units, and FAA or other Government Authorities.
• Maintain all security-related records as required by local Airline Customers, FAA, and other Government Authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all Government, Customer, Airlines, and local requirements.
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly activities to management.
• Conduct training and orientation for employees.
• Collaborate with Regional HR Manager to recruit, hire, and retain quality security agents.
• Maintain compliance with provisions, regulations, and procedures in the collective bargaining agreement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong administrative skills and excellent knowledge of operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Completion of an FBI fingerprint check and a confirmed 10-year background check.
