About the position

The Operations Leader at GD Energy Services Wind Inc. is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company, particularly in the wind energy sector. This role involves developing and managing the technician workforce, ensuring adherence to company processes, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Operations Leader will also be tasked with improving operational procedures, managing supply chains, and ensuring project completion with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility over all operational aspects of the company.
• Develop the technician workforce by searching, selecting, training, preparing, and managing technicians.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage services effectively.
• Ensure technicians adhere to company processes and procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Propose, develop, and improve operational procedures within the company.
• Supervise and control the execution of work and team performance.
• Manage the supply chain, including warehouse, materials, equipment, vehicle fleet, gear, and supplies.
• Manage customer relations at an operational level.
• Manage all service operations economically within the budget.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of operational information to customers and internally.
• Ensure awarded projects are completed with maximum safety, diligence, efficacy, and discretion.
• Perform other related tasks as requested by upper management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the wind energy sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage a workforce.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to improve operational procedures and processes.
• Strong communication skills for managing customer relations and internal reporting.
• Experience in supply chain management and budget management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in operations.
• Project management certification or experience.
