About the position

As a Solutions Leader on Duty at Petco, you will oversee the efficient operations of the Pet Care Center, ensuring that guests and their pets receive exceptional service. This role involves leading the team to provide a positive guest experience, managing cash register transactions, and maintaining merchandise standards. You will also be responsible for training and coaching partners on guest-centric programs and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center.
  • Support guest interactions and provide a positive experience.
  • Coach partners on guest-centric programs and sales targets.
  • Process register transactions to enhance guest experience.
  • Support the overall Omni Guest Experience through execution and training.
  • Function as Leader on Duty for training and communication of company initiatives.
  • Promote a positive leadership culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Genuine interest in animal welfare and care.
  • Good interpersonal skills for public interaction.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
