About the position
As a Solutions Leader on Duty at Petco, you will oversee the efficient operations of the Pet Care Center, ensuring that guests and their pets receive exceptional service. This role involves leading the team to provide a positive guest experience, managing cash register transactions, and maintaining merchandise standards. A passion for animal welfare and teamwork is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center.
- Support guest interactions and provide a role model within the selling model.
- Coach partners on guest-centric programs to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Process register transactions to create a great experience for each guest.
- Support the overall Omni Guest Experience through execution and training.
- Function as Leader on Duty for training, communication, and maintenance of company initiatives.
- Promote a positive leadership culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Proficiency in mathematics and above-average communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in animal welfare and care.
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
