The Cigna Group Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) is a comprehensive three-year rotational development initiative designed for early-career candidates eager to engage with the operations of a leading health care organization. This program offers associates the chance to immerse themselves in various roles that enhance their operational expertise and leadership capabilities. Through a series of concentrated, rotational experiences, OLDP Associates are prepared for increasing levels of responsibility and scope, ultimately aiming to become Enterprise Leaders with a strong operational mindset. As part of the OLDP, associates will undertake diverse positions across the organization, allowing them to make significant contributions to operations while gaining essential career experience. These roles can be categorized into two main types: Individual Contributors and People Management. Individual Contributors focus on leading projects or supporting ongoing business processes to improve operational efficiency, while People Management roles involve overseeing team operations, setting priorities, and fostering staff development. The program also includes several enriching opportunities for associates. New hires will participate in an onboarding and learning series that introduces them to the industry, company structure, and key operations leaders. This foundational training is designed to cultivate skills such as business acumen, effective communication, conflict resolution, and data analysis. Additionally, associates will have the chance to attend an OLDP offsite event to network with peers and leaders, engage in training, and take on leadership roles in workgroups focused on recruitment, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and branding. A formal mentorship program is also in place to support continuous development throughout the program, ensuring that associates receive guidance and support from experienced business leaders.
