About the position

Our Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) is a three-year rotational program tailored for high-potential candidates who aspire to take on future leadership roles in Operations. This program consists of three one-year rotations across various domains including Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality, complemented by a Technical Development Curriculum (TDC), Leadership Development Conferences (LDCs), an Operations Leadership Workshop (OLW), and a cross-functional business capstone project. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in multiple locations, including Fort Worth, Marietta, Palmdale, and many others, and must be willing to relocate as necessary. The OLDP is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders within Lockheed Martin, providing participants with the skills and experiences necessary to excel in operations-related roles. Candidates will engage in hands-on learning and development opportunities, allowing them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and its operations. The program emphasizes leadership qualities, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for future challenges in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Participate in three one-year rotations in Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality.
  • Engage in Technical Development Curriculum (TDC) and Leadership Development Conferences (LDCs).
  • Complete an Operations Leadership Workshop (OLW) and a cross-functional business capstone project.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and involvement in team projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a related engineering or business discipline.
  • Minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA demonstrating academic excellence.
  • Strong interest in operations, manufacturing, supply chain/procurement, or quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Related work experience through co-op, internship, or part/full-time employment.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
