About the position

The Operations & Licensing Coordinator at Brown & Brown Insurance is responsible for maintaining office procedures related to mail, phones, reception, and general office support. This role is crucial in facilitating customer service and supporting internal processes, ensuring a smooth operational flow within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead processing and distributing daily mail and general email for the office
  • Cover receptionist breaks/lunches or as needed, managing the phones and greeting guests
  • Assist with bank deposit duties as assigned
  • Support formatting documents in PowerPoint
  • Contact building management on issues affecting security and facilities maintenance
  • Ensure that kitchen and conference rooms are kept clean and well stocked
  • Coordinate welcome package and operational setup for new teammates
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
  • Proficient with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, and Office365
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • AMS360 experience or skills to learn software program at a basic level at an accelerated ability
  • Basic understanding of insurance and business terminology is preferred
