About the position

The Operations/Loan Specialist role at Robert Half involves processing and reviewing loan applications within the Financial Services industry. The position is contract to permanent and is based in Westlake Village, California. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of customer credit records and respond to customer inquiries while adhering to service standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate loan and vested benefits for various plans
• Timely dispatch of loan and withdrawal packages to clients, adhering to service standards
• Conduct quality reviews of loan and withdrawal packages prior to client distribution
• Monitor and follow up on in-process loans and distributions
• Address loan and withdrawal related inquiries from clients, participants, and staff
• Understand pension plan documents to ascertain individual plan specifications
• Seek opportunities to enhance the loan and withdrawal process
• Conduct technical research to answer questions as necessary
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of loan and withdrawal logs
• Provide backup support to other teams when required.

Requirements

• Prior experience of 2 years or more in a similar role within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Capability to efficiently manage data processing tasks
• Familiarity with Epic Software
• ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software experience
• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Auditing skills, preferably in a financial context
• Experience in check processing in a financial environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of compliance regulations within the financial services industry
