As an Operations Logistics Analyst on the 1st Shift, you will play a crucial role in tracking trends, consolidating data, and providing insights to senior leadership regarding recommended improvements. Your contributions will not only help shape the future of GXO Logistics but also support the growth and development of our employees and yourself. In this position, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on operational data derived from multiple sources. Your responsibilities will include consolidating, tracking, and reporting on this data, as well as creating reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders. You will also provide essential tools to operations management and process managers to identify problem areas in real-time and take timely action when issues arise. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing tools, reports, and techniques to assist with implementing reporting systems for operational support. This includes ensuring reporting consistency, standardizing formatting, creating professional presentations, and documenting processes and issues. Your role will also involve reviewing and enhancing reporting and processes to drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, track, trend and report on operational data derived from multiple data points
  • Create reports and other presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Provide tools to operations management and process managers to detect problem areas in real time; take timely action when problems occur
  • Develop tools, reports, techniques and/or assist with implementing reporting systems for operational support, including ensuring reporting consistency and standardized formatting, creating professional presentations, and documenting processes and issues
  • Review and create subsequent reporting and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in supply chain management and distribution systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Access and Project
