The coordinator will also be responsible for responding to electronic orders for patient placements, entering bed assignments into the hospital's software systems, and maintaining accurate records of patient movements. The role demands a high level of organization and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will gather and verify information for patient assignments, resolve any inaccuracies, and escalate unresolved issues to nursing leadership.
