About the position

The Operations Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company, a global leader in mission-critical hardware and systems solutions. This position is integral to supporting the energetic operations floor by collaborating with Value Stream Managers (VSM), Master Schedulers, Planners, and Shop Floor Supervisors (SFS) to ensure seamless daily operations. The coordinator will be responsible for evaluating material needs and movements on the production floor, which is essential for maintaining continuous operations across all areas. Additionally, the coordinator will establish and maintain Kanban systems throughout each value stream, ensuring that floor stock is replenished as needed. This involves submitting cards to Material Control (MC) and coordinating purchase requisitions with Planners for stock managed at the value stream level. The role also includes coordinating shipments, creating packing slips, and assisting with various packaging tasks, including Radiography for N-Ray shipments.
