About the position

C2G Environmental Consultants, LLC is seeking an Operations/Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day project planning and crew/equipment dispatch. The role involves strategic management of logistics, projects, and customer services, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction while working closely with other department heads and reporting directly to the owner.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, projects, transportation, and customer services.
• Dispatch crew and appropriate equipment.
• Follow up on projects to verify they are running smoothly.
• Visit project sites to plan and verify proper protocols are being followed.
• Problem solve and communicate issues and possible solutions with the owner.
• Review daily paperwork for appropriate billing.
• Travel to other office locations weekly.
• Assist with client satisfaction.
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Be on call for dispatch of crews during emergency response.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a logistics manager or construction crew chief.
• Record of successful crew and logistics management.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work in the field during emergencies or crew gaps.
