About the position

The Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) Fiberline plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuity between Operations and Maintenance within the Nippon Dynawave Packaging Company. This position is responsible for driving adherence to the Maintenance Work Control (MWC) Process, guiding the use of the MWC Prioritization Matrix, and managing the scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quarterly machine outages and lead optimization projects.
• Audit and develop efficient Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) for areas.
• Develop the capability of operating teams to achieve business results and satisfy customer requirements.
• Provide team and individual feedback, coaching, and discipline.
• Assess and coordinate the development of skills among team members.
• Support facilitation of team and safety meetings.
• Ensure team members understand and meet customer expectations.
• Facilitate resolution of team member conflicts.
• Promote development and compliance with safe work practices.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities and jointly prioritize shift maintenance work.
• Communicate core process/operator needs to management/support functions.
• Drive creation and management of the department training process.
• Perform gap analysis of standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides and drive the process to close the gaps.
• Assist operators in troubleshooting upset conditions.
• Perform administrative duties, such as filling on-shift vacancies and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Requirements

• BS degree in a technical field or equivalent work and leadership experience
• 5+ years of manufacturing process improvements
• Ability to learn safe and efficient operations
• Very strong leadership, coaching, interpersonal, and team problem-solving skills
• Highly safety conscious and willing to work rotating shifts
• Competent in Microsoft applications
