Indorama Ventures- Indovinya is currently seeking an Operations Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Dayton, TX. This pivotal role will provide essential operations support for the Dayton Surfactants Plant. The Operations Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing plant maintenance work, managing the maintenance budget, and maintaining the maintenance backlog. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all maintenance activities are executed efficiently and safely. The coordinator will chair daily meetings focused on converting notifications into work orders and will ensure that scheduled maintenance is prioritized and completed in a timely manner. In this role, the Operations Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the safe work performance of all personnel within their area of responsibility. This includes promoting and maintaining a clean and environmentally safe facility, with a strong emphasis on achieving a zero safety and environmental incident rate. The coordinator will lead by example, instilling a high degree of safety and environmental work ethic among team members. Participation in monthly safety walks and meetings is essential to ensure compliance with safety standards and to address any findings promptly. The coordinator will communicate regularly with the Maintenance Team Lead to allocate necessary staffing, tools, and equipment to facilitate smooth execution of maintenance work. They will chair weekly Gatekeeper Meetings with the Maintenance Team Lead and Planner to discuss notifications that need to be converted to work orders and to review the backlog of work orders for planning and scheduling. Collaboration with Production Supervisors and the Production Engineer will be crucial in establishing maintenance work priorities. Additionally, the Operations Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the area maintenance budget, tracking costs for both planned and unplanned work, and ensuring that all work orders are completed accurately. The role requires a strong presence in the workplace, with the ability to work extra hours and overtime as needed to meet production objectives. The coordinator will also participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and complete required training programs to support the company's goals.
