The role involves coordinating maintenance requirements to minimize downtime and maximize production while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. In this position, the coordinator will review operator and shift maintenance logs, engage with operators, supervisors, and managers to schedule and prioritize maintenance work. This includes urgent, routine, minor, and major maintenance tasks. The coordinator will also be the main point of contact for maintenance contractor work planning and oversight, ensuring effective communication between department personnel and maintenance teams. Safety is a top priority, and the coordinator will work closely with safety coordinators to ensure that equipment is locked out safely and that all necessary safety permits are obtained. The role requires maintaining a repair budget, monitoring equipment efficiency, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining repair records to identify future maintenance needs and will oversee minor capital projects, ensuring they progress smoothly through the necessary processes. Additionally, the coordinator will lead weekly outage work meetings and manage outage scheduling and project timelines, ensuring that all maintenance activities align with operational goals.
