About the position

The Operations Manager 2 - Multi Services at Sodexo Energy & Resource is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple core services at an Oil and Gas company in Ames, TX. This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction and retention through effective management of resources, team development, and quality service delivery. The Operations Manager will implement strategies to meet client and company objectives while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operation of two or more core services at a site to ensure employees have appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
• Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
• Assist in the development of new business service(s) for the client and implement the service program(s).
• Establish a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and loss prevention programs.
• Manage the budget by controlling costs (e.g., labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements, and making adjustments when necessary.
• Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and communicate them to employees.
• Promote and support workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3 years of management experience
• 3 years of functional experience in facilities or food services
• Working knowledge and skills in custodial and housekeeping services.
