Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day retail floor operations and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Resolve customer service issues and provide support to staff.
• Monitor the sales floor and respond to customer service calls.
• Participate in staff training and development programs.
• Schedule and coordinate store tours and special events.
• Assist in supply management for the store.
• Act as a point person for all departments when representatives are unavailable.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers.
• Initiate and participate in performance management and provide feedback to staff.
• Support and demonstrate a culture of passionate bookselling.
