The Operations Manager at Downer Brothers Landscaping, Inc. will oversee the Maintenance and Snow Removal divisions, focusing on optimizing operations to enhance safety, efficiency, production, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing landscape maintenance, scheduling, and directing personnel to deliver quality services. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset, playing a crucial role in tracking performance and aligning operations with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, calculate, and monitor metrics and KPIs to assess team performance, productivity, and progress toward sales goals.
• Track close ratios for the sales team and monitor production, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Analyze operational workflows to detect sources of waste or inefficiency and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Create and evolve automated systems to streamline operations, ensuring compliance and consistency across all teams.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that promote a unified, collaborative approach toward goals.
• Regularly assess and refine solutions to maximize impact on productivity and profitability.
• Work closely with sales, production, and administrative teams to create smooth, efficient workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in operations management, ideally in landscaping or a related industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and KPI tracking.
• Familiarity with workflow automation and process improvement strategies.
• Experience in developing and implementing SOPs.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
