About the position

As an Operations Manager at Action Behavior Centers (ABC), you will oversee the operations of a facility dedicated to transforming the lives of children with autism and supporting their families. This role emphasizes creating a supportive work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and financial standards, and leading a team of professionals to deliver clinical excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering community engagement and driving performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operations of an ABC Facility.
  • Cultivate a supportive work environment for the team.
  • Ensure financial, safety, and compliance oversight of the location.
  • Track monthly KPIs, clinic budgets, and team performance.
  • Establish strong connections with families and provide guidance during onboarding.
  • Attract, engage, and retain a team of 25-50 professionals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and development plans for team members.
  • Plan and execute monthly and quarterly team events and celebrations.
  • Partner with clinic leadership on operational quality and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of people management experience leading a large team across multiple sites or district management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, or considerable people management experience required.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to work effectively with children with developmental delays and their families.
  • Strong and professional communication skills among department leaders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and evaluate consequences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices.
