About the position

The Operations Manager at AquaTech Swim is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the swim school in Concord. This role requires a natural leader with proven management experience to ensure the mission and goals of AquaTech are met. The position is full-time and involves a consistent work schedule, including weekends, to oversee the operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee daily operational shifts, staff, and facility.
• Provide guidance and direction to the staff in accordance with AquaTech's policies and procedures.
• Maintain transparent communication; effectively communicate company information through management meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate channels of communication.
• Develop an exceptional staff; coach and mentor team members.
• Teach swim lessons when needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate - 18+ years of age.
• Proven, successful management experience (1+ years).
• Aquatic experience or willingness to learn (swimming, water polo, sailing, surfing, recreation, etc.).
• Flexible, can-do attitude; whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Enthusiasm for children, physical fitness, and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to diverse groups; excellent listening skills.
