Conveniently accessible by road-4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks-this breathtaking area offers daily bus services along the park road throughout the warm summer months, providing opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, climbing, and camping. Located just 7 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Park Village Hotel operates from May to September. Our guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, exceptional dining options, and live entertainment in a stunning natural setting. This exciting seasonal role is available now to October. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Transportation.
  • Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency while maintaining cost control and profitability.
  • Lead and motivate seasonal staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring team alignment with company values and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and department heads to execute business strategies, manage budgets, and meet financial objectives.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Resolve guest concerns effectively and professionally to maintain high satisfaction and reputation.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and onboarding seasonal employees to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and local businesses to support operations and enhance guest experiences.
  • Analyze operational data and create reports to assess performance, identify challenges, and implement improvements.
  • Prepare for seasonal opening and closing, ensuring a seamless transition between operational periods.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in remote or seasonal operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse seasonal workforce.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple departments and work cross-functionally to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a guest-first mindset.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management experience.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for outdoor recreation and hospitality in a national park setting is a plus.
