About the position

As an Operations Manager at Global Security Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our Aviation Security Officer force at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. This position is not just about managing tasks; it’s about leading a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where safety and customer service are paramount. You will work under the guidance of the General Manager to ensure that all station operations adhere to the established procedures and protocols set forth by the company, TSA, airport, and client standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of compliance and excellence among your team members. In this role, you will be responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the security team. This includes ensuring that all security functions are performed in accordance with TSA regulations and corporate policies. You will also oversee staffing, develop scheduling procedures, and ensure that all personnel are properly trained and compliant with the necessary regulations. Your ability to evaluate station attendance and performance will be key in administering corrective measures and maintaining high standards of service. The Operations Manager will also be tasked with administering payroll reporting, ensuring cost-effective measures are implemented, and conducting daily briefings and staff meetings. You will collaborate closely with the Training and Compliance department to coordinate training for all station personnel, ensuring that they are well-prepared to meet the demands of their roles. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will be essential in providing a pleasant experience for travelers at the airport, making this position both challenging and rewarding.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all security functions are performed in accordance with TSA regulations and corporate policies
  • Responsible for station staffing and development of scheduling procedures
  • Ensure staffing and scheduled hours are in accordance with contractual agreements with clients
  • Evaluate station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures
  • Administer payroll reporting within established guidelines and deadlines
  • Ensure cost-effective measures across the station
  • Responsible for station compliance relating to all reporting procedures
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings
  • Coordinate with the Training and Compliance department on all training of station personnel
  • Safeguard company equipment and vehicles
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Requirements

  • Detailed experience in managing people and processes
  • Proactive thinker with an outgoing personality
  • Great intrapersonal skills and effective communication across diverse cultures
  • Ability to pass initial and recurrent training classes
  • Experience working with basic office equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A.C.E certification preferred
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid state issued driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to participate in a drug test with negative results
  • Willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check
  • Able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal
