About the position

The Operations Manager (OM) at A Head for Profits is an assistant management role responsible for overseeing daily operations within a specific market. Reporting to the District Manager or Regional Director, the OM ensures operational obligations are met while managing personnel, maintaining relationships with brewers and clients, and providing leadership to Technicians. This position plays a crucial role in executing the company's vision and business plan for sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and performance in the assigned market.
  • Manage human resources and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with brewers, wholesalers, and retail clients.
  • Provide direction and leadership to Technicians in the market.
  • Ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction through line cleaning route coverage.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information to inform business strategies.
  • Communicate important information to the District Manager.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members for career growth.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in hospitality management.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Working knowledge of beverage dispense systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn product-specific information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the beverage dispense industry.
  • Familiarity with operational management in hospitality.
