About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a furnished rental and Airbnb business, ensuring efficient management of properties and guest relations. This role involves managing a team, conducting property inspections, and implementing new processes to enhance business growth. The position also offers opportunities for advancement and additional responsibilities based on the candidate's skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversite of regular onsite inspections of properties to check inventory and condition.
• Inventory management for Airbnb locations.
• Guest issue resolution.
• Management of team (cleaners, virtual assistants, handymen, and other sub-contractors).
• Hiring and managing contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance.
• Hiring for open positions and training new hires.
• Maintain communication and relationships with property management companies, property owners, vendors, and guests.
• Planning and overseeing setup of new Airbnb locations.
• Lead the creation, documentation, and implementation of new processes/procedures to automate and grow the business.
• Miscellaneous projects and tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years management experience or applicable degree in hospitality or real estate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven with attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in learning new software programs and mobile apps.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with direct communication style.
• Acceptable background and criminal check.
