About the position

The General Manager at Hazmatpac will oversee the entire division, focusing on business development, sales, and operations. This role is pivotal in driving results and ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. The General Manager will develop and execute strategic plans, manage financial budgets, and cultivate new business relationships, all while fostering a positive organizational culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic/tactical plans for business opportunities.
• Create, communicate, and implement the organization's vision and strategy.
• Manage the division's P&L to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Review financial statements and forecasts to assess division progress.
• Identify and establish new business relationships.
• Direct and coordinate activities related to production, pricing, sales, and distribution.
• Establish departmental staffing requirements and policies.
• Oversee organizational financial budgets and performance monitoring.
• Select and appoint managers and department heads.
• Provide regular status reports to executive management.
• Maintain relationships with corporate management and customers.
• Negotiate and approve agreements and contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree in business administration or management preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years management experience in distribution; hazardous packaging experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to relationship-building.
• Strong PC skills, including MS Office software.
