About the position

The General Manager at Auburn Crest Hospice will oversee the operations of the branch, focusing on staff supervision, business strategy, and community relationships. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. The General Manager will also collaborate with clinical leadership and participate in leadership meetings to contribute to the company's vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations of the branch through supervision and development of professional staff.
• Oversee all branch activities including business strategy, growth, sales, budgets, and finances.
• Build and maintain community relationships and manage contracts.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure policy and regulation compliance.
• Oversee clinical staff needs including recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention.
• Innovate and develop the team to serve patients and their families effectively.
• Participate in leadership meetings with other General Managers to guide local teams and contribute to the company's vision.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience with the ability to delegate and develop people.
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of business management including financials, sales, marketing, and human resource management.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to analyze internal quality control reports and communicate improvement efforts.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and IT processes.
