About the position

The Operations Manager at Genesis Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and fiscal performance of a high-volume hospitality division, which includes restaurants and hotels. This role requires strong leadership and customer service skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with senior leadership to implement corporate policies and strategic plans. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities and driving initiatives to meet profitability targets.

Responsibilities

• Present, report, and communicate challenges to the Hospitality Director and leadership team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to execute corporate policies and strategic plans.
• Harmonize operational processes, policies, and procedures across all hospitality locations.
• Generate and design reports for individual restaurants and hotel locations to ensure consistency.
• Standardize and facilitate headcount and capital expense requests.
• Guide decisions involving price structure and negotiations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and implement added services.
• Onboard and harmonize processes for acquired companies.
• Participate in professional meetings as appropriate.

Requirements

• BA degree in Business/Finance/Accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience in business development is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a matrix environment.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good judgment and ability to communicate with a diverse range of professionals.
• Ability to recognize customer needs and collaborate with management to implement services.
• Daily, local travel required.
