About the position

The Operations Manager (OM) at Chick-fil-A will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of world-class hospitality and crave-able food while adhering to the company's high standards. This position involves working closely with the Senior Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and other leadership team members to execute strategies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The OM will be an ambassador of the Chick-fil-A brand, collaborating with leaders such as the Catering Manager to expand the brand's presence in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, the Operations Manager is responsible for coaching and holding accountable all Team Leaders and Team Members, instilling behaviors that prioritize customer service, urgency in service delivery, and adherence to Chick-fil-A's training and operational procedures. The OM will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards across various areas, including production, guest relations, maintenance, inventory management, and financial accountability. The position requires a minimum age of 21 years and a valid NY food handlers permit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to the company's core values, including honesty, integrity, and a pursuit of excellence. They will be expected to demonstrate a proactive approach, strong work ethic, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. The Operations Manager will also need to be adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and able to maintain composure under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Senior Operations Manager and Director of Operations to execute strategies for hospitality and food quality.
  • Coach and provide accountability to Team Leaders and Team Members.
  • Direct daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Manage production, preparation, guest relations, restaurant maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Recruit and manage team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor financial accountability and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment and team morale.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and development of team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years old.
  • Valid NY food handlers permit.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in restaurant management or operations.
