About the position

As an Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain, you will oversee the efficient operation of warehouses, focusing on optimizing processes and leading a diverse team. Your role is crucial in fostering a safe and productive work environment while driving the success of the organization through effective management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety awareness.
• Compile comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
• Facilitate open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and achieve exceptional satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.
