About the position

As an Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of warehouses, implementing processes to optimize operations, and leading a diverse team. Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, and standardized processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
• Compile comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors, providing input on talent selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders and exceed expectations.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.
