About the position

The Operations Manager at One Hope United is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and leading project execution. This role involves delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining high standards of project completion. The Operations Manager will also train and supervise clerical staff, manage project schedules, and facilitate communication between departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Lead projects and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Complete and follow up on all assigned tasks, checking their progress.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage them effectively.
  • Assist with budgeting and support in various offices.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Utilize industry best practices throughout project execution.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain confidential reports and records as required.
  • Determine organization and department needs for agency services and program activities.
  • Research and collect data for upcoming RFPs, DCF audits, and licensures/expansions.
  • Manage logistics of departmental meetings, including RSVPs and catering.
  • Facilitate information dissemination between departments and the public while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Direct and assign work to clerical personnel and serve as a resource for applicable rules and regulations.
  • Participate in reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
  • Coordinate and promote community linkage and relationship development.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Two years of previous experience in child welfare and administrative work.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
