About the position

The Operations Manager - Leasing is responsible for overseeing the marketing and leasing of vacant and upcoming homes within a designated portfolio. This role involves managing marketing strategies, ensuring compliance, enhancing the prospect experience, and optimizing financial performance. The Operations Manager provides guidance to the leasing team, fostering a positive sales culture and ensuring that team members are equipped to meet their goals and the company's standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the marketing and leasing of all vacant and coming soon homes within the portfolio.
  • Create a fun sales culture and guide leasing consultants to achieve lead conversion ratios.
  • Understand and achieve portfolio target metrics and overall performance.
  • Hold weekly team meetings to gather feedback and support the team in managing leads and leasing homes.
  • Ensure all marketing is compliant with TAH standards.
  • Train team members and provide them with the necessary tools for success.
  • Enforce compliance with schedules, policies, and procedures for optimal performance.
  • Forecast and manage occupancy timelines.
  • Communicate promptly about company updates and objectives with team members.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly reporting for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet timelines and standards.
  • Support team members in resolving prospect escalations.
  • Create a roadmap for team members to meet company expectations and personal goals.
  • Hold self and team accountable to budgets, goals, and company initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and provide feedback on processes.

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of property management experience.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Basic financial acumen.
  • Ability to analyze multiple data sets and make sound business recommendations.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well using mobile office electronic tools and systems.
  • Basic accounting and math skills, excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Desire for continuous development.
  • Knowledge of Yardi preferred.
